The S.H.I.E.L.D. Vault is a (supposedly safe) storage location for Silver and Refined Iso-8. Upgrading the Vault increases the maximum amount of Silver and Refined Iso-8 the base can hold. However, the level of the Vault or number of defenders stationed within does not seem to affect the amount of resources lost during raids made by other players. If attacked in PVP the vault loses both Silver and Refined Iso-8.
